World Federation of Hairdressing and Beauty Schools

The World Federation of Hairdressing and Beauty Schools has been
established since 1962 with a commitment to quality training and
meeting the needs of the industry within the private sector.

Their aims are as follows:
• To promote the interests and general welfare of private
hairdressing schools.
• To meet the industries educational needs and provide
information to members of the organisation.
• To promote and maintain student welfare and ethical 
business practice.

Their commitment to the industry and objectives are as follows:
• To assist with national associations in the development
of quality training.
• To ensure that WFHBS graduates continue to carry out
their hairdressing skills worldwide and be recognised for
their quality of training.
• To support members with information and recommendations
to improve their schools.
• To engage in publicity and public relations activities in the
interest of private hairdressing schools.
• Working with the Hairdressing Training Board in line with
WFHBS’s commitments to quality training.

Certificates will be awarded to successful candidates upon
completion of courses and examinations.
