Bellissimo Brides are Best - It's Official
The talented team at Bellissimo have done it again and brought home five medals from the Irish Hairdressing Championships which were recently held on the RDS Dublin. Louise Jordan, took the Irish Senior Bridal Champion title by winning first prize for her 'Classic Bridal Look'.
Louise was responsible for the overall look and styled the models clothes and make-up as well as creating the winning hair style. Louise also won medals in the 'Creative Fantasy' and 'Ladies Long Hair' competitions but the jewel in the crown was her second place in the overall competition which qualifies Louise to represent Ireland at the World Hairdressing Championships this November in Paris.
Louise has worked with Bellissimo in Galway for 4 years and is no stranger to the limelight having won Gold in the European Championships in Athens in 2008. 'Getting through to the World Championships once was a dream come true .' says who is a Native of Ballina Co.Mayo but has been living and working in Glaway for 6 years.
'Bridal Hair Design is a very important part of what we do at Bellissimo and winning an award in this category is testament to the time and effort that we put into training our stylists. Of course, not everyone has the skill and creativity that Louise has and our junior stylists are very lucky to have Louise there to learn from'. comments Brendan Murphy, Managing Director of Bellissimo.
Another up-and-coming star to watch out for is Bellissimo's Natalie O'Connell. Natalie won 4th place at the Irish Hairdressing Championships. 'We are very proud of Natalie,' said Brendan, 'it was her first major competition and she prepared well and performed brilliantly under pressure. We're very lucky to have both Louise and Natalie on our team and look forward to the World Championships in November.'
